Number of games necessary to get approx PR

i have played 1000 games in the past couple months and the guy who played the first 500, isn't the same player who played the last 500.

I'm at the point where if there is a game where there are no hits, i can play at 0 for that game, then I get into a complex back game and my PR for that game is 35. Point is its all over the place.

MCG said it best "Your PR reflects your understanding of backgammon positions."

sometimes I guess the right move and i appear to play better than I do, other times i just don't see the right play.
