In Response To: Fives Reasons Online PRs Are Lower than Live PRs (Paul Weaver)

I probably play slower live than online. If nothing else I have to look at the board for 6 seconds or so as I roll the dice and think about how the numbers play (although I usually slow down my pace a bit). Online I might just be click-clicking away, or have just opened another window to listen to some music or something. Also there are fewer distractions live.

Those can contribute to a lower live PR, but other factors you mentioned can contribute to a higher live PR. I don't think there is one good answer one way or the other, but I also don't think it has a substantially large effect. The biggest factor in your PR is how well you understand the game.
