8 12 is better on 32 and 42 (2 rolls [21] vs. 7 rolls [21 31 32 11] and 0 rolls vs. 2 rolls), so a total of 7 out of 1296.

15/7 is better on 31 and 41 (7 rolls vs. 13 rolls [43 42 41 32 31 21 11] and 2 rolls vs. 13 rolls), so a total of 17 out of 1296.

Every other roll transposes.

So you save gammons about 10 more times in 1296 with 15/7 (of course you are a big favorite to save anyway).
