I think the hit is obvious.

Then it's a choice of slot, split, 11/10 or 16/15.

16/15 leaves the fewest shots, although the split doesn't leave any more from a practical perspective. But I don't think avoiding shots when down by 40 pips and facing a one-point board is the right idea. The safe vs bold criteria all point to bold, so that means either 11/10 or 6/5.

I'll go for the slot, 18/16* 6/5, but not sure if 11/10 might be better.
