The runner is stuck, otherwise Pottling would be my immediate choice.

I can play 13/8, subjecting myself to an almost certain trip to the roof, so that's out.

I can abandon the 8 point which seems playable, but kind of weak since it accomplishes nothing.

Or I can shuffle checkers in my jhomeboard - either slot the deuce or stack the three.

Slotting the deuce may invite a loose hit, but with the better board I'm not that afraid of a loose hit. My next objective is to run, and slotting makes small numbers play better. So I'll slot the deuce
