Once again, the voice of reason Phil. People need to understand that when playing at an ABT or USBGF sanctioned Tournament you are playing on THEIR turf. They are the ones that establish the rules and NOT the parent. Whatever happens outside that arena is a different matter. BackGammon needs a higher profile. With a higher profile comes more scrutiny. More scrutiny COULD lead to unwanted "Backlash". The goal is to constantly be moving forward. Like I said earlier, I'll do whatever it takes to further our game but we must be cognizant of the pitfalls ahead.
