The Dillies have only one spare checker in the zone, so it may be some time before they can threaten to make another inside point. Nevertheless, with a checker on the bar, outboarded 4-to-1, against an opponent who has already been able to split her rear checkers, I would rather not take the risk of losing a doubled gammon. I don't want to go down 4-0 in a short match to 9.

If were we not on the bar, perhaps even if we were unanchored with blots on 24pt and 23pt, I think I would take.
