Babylon 5 - My favourite story arc in science fiction

Earth: Final Conflict - A show based on a Gene Roddenberry story line

Andromeda (TV Series) - Another story based on work by Roddenberry

Battlestar Galactica remake + movies - A must see

Battlestar Galactica (70s) - Fine if you avoid Galactica 1980

Broadchurch

Torchwood (and associated spin off miniseries)

Weeds

Dead Like Me

Jericho(2006) - This show had potential, but CBS cancelled because of declining ratings. I hope Scy-Fy picks it up one day. It remains open ended.

On your list that are complete:

Dexter - I watched the whole series a few months ago. I wasn't a fan, but others seem to like it.

Shows in progress that are likely worth watching when finished:

The Walking Dead - The best show on TV

Game of Thrones - The second best show on TV

House of Cards

Continuum - Premise is based on time travel

Defiance

The Dome

Bate's Motel

Hannibal
