USBGF Board of Directors Runoff Election

The USBGF Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Dorn Bishop has won the Board of Directors runoff election. The Board is delighted with the high level of interest and the considerable participation exhibited by the membership participation. We have promised a more open, transparent, inclusive, and democratic process. We think we provided that in the election process and the membership has responded most favorably.
In accordance with the By-Laws, by virtue of being named on at least 50% of the ballots cast in the runoff, Dorn Bishop has been elected and will join Karen Davis, Richard Munitz, Patrick Gibson, and Neil Kazaross on the Board for new three year terms. These five will join Art Benjamin, Jeb Horton, Alfred Mamlet, Steve Mellen, Tara Mendicino, Richard Munitz, Bill Riles, and Joe Russell to comprise the USBGF Board of Directors.
We welcome Dorn to the Board and thank Perry for the years of valuable service he has provided the UBSGF. We thank all of the candidates -- in the original election and in the runoff election -- for their willingness to serve the USBGF. Successful or not, each of them have the skills and the desire to serve that are valuable to the USBGF. We hope each will continue to contribute.
