Time to do a real poll

I believe that proposed changes in ABT rules are subject to a vote by ABT directors. Someone can correct me if I am wrong about that. I don't believe it is a dictatorship.

I am unaware of any unbiased attempt to poll preferences on this issue. One side keeps claiming they have the numbers. I haven't seen it yet. I would suggest that someone whose interest in this topic is greater than mine should do the work and conduct a good poll. In the absence of a better idea, perhaps the USBGF could poll its membership. One member / one vote. That would provide a much better cross-section of the population of players than anything done on a site like this. The poll could be reviewed before release to remove bias. One or more representatives from each point of view could be chosen to do the review.
