In Response To: Chouette double taking question (leobueno)

It depends on the rules established by the chouette, and every chouette should have established rules. Email me and I will be happy to send you the formal rules of the Chicago chouette which covers this and just about every other situation you can imagine.

In most chouettes you can take or pass whoever you want on recubes. On initial double action many chouettes require equal action on all initial cubes, and many carry this over to recubes as well, while most I have seen do not.

So in most chouettes, on redoubles, you can take or pass whoever you choose.
