There are OTHER arguments that can be reasonably made that LM is better for beginners. But as to THIS argument, that a beginner is assumed wrong and a Giant is assumed correct, that I would welcome knowing how it benefits a beginner when he or she is in fact correct.

With NLM, if he accepts the Giant's move then that's the end of it. No hard feelings for the beginner and a Giant suffers the penalty for moving illegally.
