>Whether it is NLM or LM your situation of disagreement of whether a move is legal can come up. Like others I am not seeing how it is an argument against LM.
Suppose Player P completes his move by picking up his dice. Then he says "I misplayed so I want to move legally." Opponent O thinks P played legally. Even in a clocked match where the roll is clear, they may disagree over the starting position.
With LM there is a dispute to resolve. With NLM, there is no dispute; O simply accepts the play as it stands. The argument against LM is that this dispute is avoided under NLM.
