According to XG2, the gammon adjusted TP is 37.37%. ... In reality, XG2's gammon adjusted TP would be 12.3+26.42 = 38.8%, indicating a re-cube vig of 38.8-37.37 = 1.43%.

I think you are looking at the wrong number there. The 37.37% is the gammon adjusted dead cube TP, the same as your 38.8%, calculated under slightly different assumptions. To see the potential recube vig, you should look at the difference between dead cube take TP and live cube TP (32.58% according to my XG's cube information). The real recube vig cannot be derived from the cube information. The rollout result tells us what the real value of owning the cube is (the difference between cubeless and cubeful equity after Double/Take), but I don't know how to apply that knowledge in practice.
