OT Beat the Streak

And that's just it, Joe, it IS meant to be a fun exercise. A chance to test how Baseball savvy a person really is. No one goes in thinking they're going to win but plays more for the enjoyment of it all. Mind you, the enjoyment gets replaced by pressure when your streak gets up there. Imagine if you're at 47 like the cop from Atlanta last year. He picks Justin Upton and he's following his EVERY at-bat. 0 for 1, 0 for 2, 0 for 3 !!! Barring extra innings, a player will generally only get four at-bats a game. Unfortunately for William Bryan, Justin Upton just couldn't advance his streak. STILL, $10K isn't a bad consolation prize. Again, all it's meant to be is FUN. Take that out of the equation and what's left ? Enjoy it if you play.
