Bearing in well, to your home board is not dissimilar to bearing of. In that you know the answer and cant see the logic suggests you have a basic problem. Maybe your trying to run before you can walk. Eight chequers on the 6 point? only humans can manage that. Its all about distribution thus optimising your rolls being good to bear off. You need a system as no normal human can emulate a bot.Use that bot set it up play it out many times make a rule of thumb. If you want to fast track things Mochy did a thingy here the other day or look on the internet. A good system gives one peace of mind knowing that you played your rolls well and it was those pesky dice that bettered you. With a decent system you will not need any deep thought. For example always but always feed the 4 point , getting a double 4 with nothing on it will make you cry and maybe lose the game for you.
