I could play 10/8 9/5, leaving only two shots, trying to attack that last checker and win a gammon. Or I could play 13/11 13/9, leaving four shots but probably leaving a better cleanup.

I'll be too good to double, since I can always cash this if White flees without hitting me. OTB I play 13/11 13/9 without a lot of hesitation, but the gammons and a dusting of QF leads me to give 10/8 9/5 a shot. I have a feeling I'm out-thinking myself.
