Pay now or pay later?

playing two off the midpoint leaves 4 shots, but clears that point and should be easy to clean up. 9/5 10/8 only leaves 2 shots, but we still have the midpoint to clear and she'll probably have a stronger board by that time.

I don't think slotting the back of the prime is the right idea since it gives up 11 shots, although I'm inferring that blue is trying to play for gammon because otherwise it looks like a cube.

9/5 6/4? Not sure I see the point, although it also only leaves two shots.

I'll pay now. 8/9 times it should be clear sailing.
