With the benefit of QF, one can more easily see that Blue wants to save a 6 here

Yet another reason some of us seem to play near perfectly when posting on the forums. We are far far less likely to overlook anything.

The choice between the natural 8/6 and the ugly 6/4 is more interesting

The main point is save your sixes. 6/4 is weak in comparison with the other save your sixes play.
