Blue to play 34

U (Up) = bar/18

From the 18pt, we can hope to bring that checker around. The Dillies won’t be in hurry to hit with a 6 or 7 (except 43), so a blot on the 18pt is exposed mostly to rolls with a 1.

The only alternatives I see are 6/2 and 8/4*. The former puts a blot deep in our board. That would create two problems: 1. covering it before we start trading hits, and 2. bypassing the points we are interested in. The latter alternative would tear down a block that is a primary asset. It would also leave three blots, inviting attack at at time when we are out-boarded.
