What I envision would be a one hour documentary divided into two half hour segments. The first would deal with the history of the game and it's influence in the Arab world. How it's not merely a game but rather an intrinsically woven part of their cultural fabric. The second would deal with the western world and it's "Reshaping" of the game. John Crawford and Oswald Jacoby should get mention, for obvious reasons, as should Paul Magriel along with present days best.

Falafel had once said he thought BackGammon could be the tool and that bridged both worlds. There may be MORE to that than most realize. Good luck with whichever storyline you go with. I know it'll be successful either way.
