Hitting seems clear to me - there's just nothing else good to do with a 63.

Aspiring intermediates like myself learn to avoid stacking and that when an opponent has a man on the roof diversifying by leaving blots can pay off. But sometimes these lessons don't apply, and this may be one of those cases. With the PF's holding our five point the bar point isn't worth as much as usual so slotting it may not be worth the risk.

Which is to say that I'm fine with lifting. I'm not convinced it's better than bringing one down, but I can't say that it's worse.
