If you need to get a new computer in the next few months....sounds like either converting from a Vista PC to either WIN 8 or a Mac is going to be a pain. Buying a Win 7 machine just seems like delaying the inevitable.

Win 8 PC - a pain for all the reasons discussed here.

Mac because then will need to deal with PC emulator issue for XG, GG, need to be common with MS-Office environment, etc..... not to mention cost difference for the apple premium. Even for those like me that are in apple mobile and TV environment already.

Any unbiased (PC/MAC) advice from you IT geeks?
