I don't think anyone has asked me if I was interested for 3 years now. I feel like it would be the 'Core Four's' job to seek out possible teammates, not the other way around. I know the year I played and helped organize the team I was reaching out left and right to any possible players that would really make the event. Tardieu, Grandell, Snellings, Ballard, etc... None of those players made it though it though a couple thought about it and it got Wilcox if only briefly to post here on BGO. I'm still sure they were happy to be contacted and perhaps it helped them keep a little interest in bg.

'Phipps offered Stick a freeroll he couldn't refuse' ... and yet he refused. Stick can do the impossible! All freerolls aren't free. Let's not revisit this ridiculousness.
