Advanced Backgammon #68

I looked at making the 5pt, slotting the 5pt and 8pt, and playing as safe as possible, 14/8, 3/2.

The safe play leaves 20 shots, as does the double slot. Making the 5pt leaves 26 shots.

If the blot on the 3pt were moved to the 1pt, thus making that point, I would be willing to get fancy with this. As it stands, I need to be willing to trade hits, so I opted to leave the fewest number of blots. If I am missed, I hope to use the next roll to safety the blot and unstack the 6pt. With luck, I might cover the 1pt or 3pt in the process.
