Can White take? On the minus side, she has two on the bar, is twenty pips down, has a third vulnerable blot, and one of Blue's back checkers has partially escaped. On the plus side, Blue has only nine checkers in the zone, only two home-board points made, has two blots in his home board, and White has made her 5pt.

I'm reminded of a position in Trice's Boot Camp where White has her 5pt but has only one checker on the bar against 11 checkers in the zone, and it's a take. There are a lot of adjustments to make from that position to this one, but I'm inclined to take because if I hit back from the bar then I think I'm doing pretty well, and the 4 that Blue needs to hit the third checker is also the 4 he needs to cover both blots at once. I'm not sure about the take, though, so I would certainly double.
