White's passing with any nonanchoring (and nonhitting) number? Don't think so, surely not without the 9 point slotted.

Threatening to make the 9 point (with 18 numbers) is strong. Adding a fourth and fifth attacker for the 3 and 4 points is strong. Giving 10 hitting returns instead 2 is bad, but hits are hardly catastrophic with a doubly anchored back position against Opp's three point board. I agree with Casper that 9/7 seems third best.
