Opinions About Giving Odds

Player A is a low stakes backgammon player.(not a gambler). Player B plays backgammon,at times, but has a gambling personality.Player A is a better backgammon player than B(A is the favorite,but not clear how much better).
Player B will only play A if given 3 to 2 dollars money odds.If A wins 8 points at dollar/point( 8.00), for example, B would win 12 dollars for 8 points.
Reasons A should accept this offer? Reasons A should not accept this offer?
