I made Peter's play and I still don't see why 15/14 rolls out so far behind 16/15. I'm not satisfied with Peter's explanation. Red has two checkers up; why do we care about safety? What are we afraid of, double 4's?

By the way, Peter, when I copied and pasted the XGID, it didn't work. Somewhere along the line, a "smart" editor converted XG's consecutive hyphens into an em-dash.
