15/14 accomplishes nothing except to leave two blots that at some point will need to be cleaned up. It's not just the payoff to 44, but the later issues in cleaning them up when you might want to do something else with the roll. Note that the opp enters both pieces 44% of the time, do you want those blots then?

HELL NO and I am honestly surprised that 15/14 isn't show as even further behind 16/15.
