Whatever you do, never play where one side plays X per point and the other is playing Y per point...that completely changes the game and all of the odds on when to double and when to drop cubes. It can be a huge mistake to give a 4 cube or 8 cube to someone who is risking only a fraction of what you are per point in that game. The only odds should be relative to giving an opening roll or a break in the payoff.
