I took a quick look at a couple of variants. Adding another checker to White's 2pt seems to make the top two plays very close.

After 7/6 2/off 1/off, White prefers not to hit (except with 11). With another checker on White's 2pt, it seems that White still prefers not to hit after 7/6 2/off 1/off; it seems she doesn't prefer to hit until we add two checkers to White's 2pt.
