he's just about to kill more checkers - why stop him? his checkers will die a smothering death if he can't recirculate or anchor the back checkers. 13/10 helps to lessen the damage of a 26 or 36 roll and gets 2 checkers looking at the 4 point, then 13/7 so that 1s don't hurt so badly. 5,7 works if we are guaranteed to roll small #s.
