This must be a very clear pass since contact is very unfavorable for White. He is very unlikely to get a direct shot while in order to preserve his racing equity, he will have to come off his anchor very soon. When he does this, the remaining checker is in danger of being pointed on or perhaps picked and pass. White will do well to get into a race which isn't a picnic for him anyway.
