Slotting the 2pt is the right idea but because we want to recycle the checker, not because we want to make the 2pt. Making the 2pt gives Black more chances to dance instead of burying checkers, and ties up two of our checkers that we would prefer to be circulating freely. I would play 13/9 6/2, and make sure not to cover the 2pt unless I have to.

Casper's suggestion of 13/9 12/10 4/2 is intriguing but when Black has six checkers back, I'm not even sure it's the DMP play. Could be, though.
