A question for recorders - video compression and file size

There is free video compression software that will convert a 2 hour movie into a file size of approximately 800 MB with excellent video quality. I believe for the Mac it's called pineapple, though I'd have to double check if anyone was interested.

A backgammon match should require no more than 300-400 MB for 2 hours I'd guess.

Dropbox is free for 5GB and allows files of any size.

Uploads should take no more than about 1/2 hour and downloads no more than 5-10 minutes.
