Thanks for pointing that out Mike - obviously my using the term "Post Crawford" is misleading and non-Crawford is what I really meant. Sorry about that.

I havn't done the error figures for the split when ahead/slot when behind strategy yet but it's definately better than guessing. The slots are mostly bunched into the 'behind' scores and vice verse for splits, so it's not a terrible strategy by any means - many players do just that. I'll let you know when I've done the figures for that.

As for the 3 main exceptions you quoted, just over half the total error in the 15x15 score grid is from those, so if you memorise those, you roughly halve the total error.
