When I'm breaking my board because of a bad roll and I don't expect to have to play inside my board again soon, I usually break a low point so that I can keep a good board. So I'd play 24/20 2/1 here.

If we're breaking our board because we're crunching, and expect to have to play again inside our board, then it's usually better to break a high point, because then we postpone the day when we have to break a second point. We can use the spares from breaking the high point to play small numbers, and we (start to) kill large numbers.
