Agreed, I argued against this for about 2 hours but in the end was wasting my breathe. It seemed like such a obviously bad idea but there were 5 of us in the discussion and I was the only one who wanted Crawford. In fact I was caught off guard when the subject even came up.

I was reminded of Dr Spock from Star Trek saying "it is illogical to use logic on illogical beings".
