Tablet backgammon apps

Bill, no tablet will come with those apps preinstalled since you have to buy them from the google app store. I can't say anything about the first three you mentioned; I personally would not recommend anyone to buy those.
As for Backgammon NJ, I used to give a lot of heat to Jimmy since he ported the app from iPaid system which has fixed screen resolutions, and it created a ton of problems for Android users with many different screen resolutions. (For example, it didn't work properly on any of my three devices.) It looks like he fixed the problem since and now the app scales nicely to any screen resolution. It works well on my Nexus 5, 7, and 10.
Until Xavier makes XG available for Android, Backgammon NJ is the best backgammon app available at this point. I played 17 7-point matches so far and it performed at 3PR level (on its highest setting, of course) so far. There is also a very nice free app Backgammon Mobile that is based on GnuBG engine. However, it's cube handling algorithm is broken. I would have continued using the free Backgammon Mobile app, but last week I had an opportunity to perform a sequence of simple app "purchases" to earn $23 in Amazon App Store credit and hence could get Backgammon NJ essentially for free.
If you are determined to buy Backgammon NJ it should run fine on almost any tablet. If you don't know which tablet to get, I personally think that the second generation Nexus 7 is the best value on the market at this point.
