You hit it just right! Now, the real position I masked was with two checkers off (not one:) If I had published the real (blossom) everyone would have XG tell the Blossom is the move. My opponent in the real match was dead if he didn't blossom, so it was easier to pick the right move. But here it is a pivotal point. Your analysis helps, but still it is very difficult to weigh OtB the 1 checker off and the 2 checkers off positions and pick the right path.

Against a 5 point board With him borne 1 checker off, the chin-up bearin on 6 and 5 is best. With 2 checkers off (less the 22p. checker) 7/5 and 4/3* ! is best. Flower! The more checkers borne off the more efficient would be the Blossom hits (creating two blots). Take the opponent's checker from his 3 point off and you are blossom hitting:) I vaguely remember this type position was not always pro-blosson with more checkers off to the opponent, because at some point gammons made us more cautious.
