One silly and rather annoying thing I have discovered in all backgammon programs (except Extreme Gammon) is that when you find yourself facing an opponent's closed home board, you are still required to roll your dice! Even the excellent NJ Backgammon for android OS requires this. However this minor niggle aside, I use Extreme Gammon and Gnu on PC and NJ on android and they are all excellent programs.
