24/23 13/8

My starting point is to assume it's actually a second roll, not a third roll, and we are playing a 51 reply to 21$ opening. I know that slotting is no more than 0.005 better than splitting at DMP and splitting is best for money. So, AtS I'd guess slotting and splitting are about equal (provided this is a second roll).

Now, we have already played 61P before the 21$-51 sequence occurred. Our stripped 8 point begs for a spare, so 13/8 is clear. The ace we should use to either split or slot. In contrast to the second roll situation we have started a mini prime. Normally, we'd prefer to slot the back of the prime rather than the edge of the prime. Additionally, slotting does not duplicate direct covering numbers for Poo's. Finally, slotting gives them an opportunity to step up to the edge of the prime with tempo. For the slotting speaks the 6 point which wants to be unstacked, but that's about it.

I have convinced myself that split is the way to go.
