My instinct was to make the 23 pt and this could be my play OTB without giving this position too much thought.

However, after giving it some thought it looks like we are almost committed to a backgame, we already hold the cube, and our timing is questionable. Therefore, looks like fighting for the last piece of the prime is high priority and hitting on the 13 leaves our opponent with no direct covers to make the full prime. On the way, if we get hit back it can help our timing, and maybe even achieve a 3rd anchor in the process. If we don't get hit back there is also some forward game equity which starts by making the 17 pt.

b/23, 14/13* is my play. I am far from confident about this play but I like the (possibly flawed) logic that convinced me to make it.
