Nactation help needed

Dmitriy's Nactations are correct.
The rule quoted by David, which prefers blots when they are "closest to the six point (farther from the six point for outfield blots)," applies only to the blots and spares that are moved in a play. With N = 8/7(2) 6/5(2), none of the checkers that are moved ends up as a blot or spare. Hence, the rule does not apply.
The rule involved is the 6pt Convention. It is the third part of the Hit-More-6 Rule. The 6pt Convention has two parts that are tested in sequence. The first test is for owned points. Owned points are always preferred when they are closer to the 6pt. Only when a check of owned points results in a tie, is it necessary to apply the second test. That is the test which prefers that the blots and spares that are moved in a play land at destinations that are closer to the 6pt.
An exception is made for blots and spares that land in the outer board. By the wrinkle in the 6pt convention, blot and spare destinations in the outer board are preferred when they are farther from the 6pt. The wrinkle makes it more likely that a good backgammon play will recieve a preferred Nactation.
Hope this helps.
Mike
