The Anatomy of a Gammon

Thanks Mike. I think.
So, yes, I was quite vehement about the gammon risks, and yes, I advocated strongly for more flexible plays at the cost of better winning positions. For most of those plays, I think (if not all), I was technically wrong, in terms of equity, by small amounts I think though. The concepts are ones that I stick by though, and those are how I play, according to concept and theory.
I think I found a degree of frustration that not enough people were willing to stand up and argue, either for fear of offending, or otherwise. Thats just a personal thought though.
Ultimately, there was a gammon, and it happens, no big deal.
Personally, I found the OLM to be more instructive in some areas than others, and generally of benefit to many. I like it, and will continue to play, so long as I get to yell and scream about phantom risks, and unlikely rewards.
