Dayton Doubles Disagreements

Usually when I play doubles with Mary there aren't many disagreements, we push the checkers around and nod to each other for the most part. On Sunday however we disagreed on a lot of stuff, sometimes a straightout disagreement, other times because we knew our opponents were significantly weaker than ourselves and were trying to adjust strategy so suit the needs of the difference in skill levels. Me personally, I'm not much of a strategy adjuster, I make the best play, I'm happy. I will adjust more on cube decisions than checker plays but even then I think ppl overdo it sometimes.

The above mentioned has nothing to do with the problem at hand but a couple of others I'll be posting. Here, OtB, we made the right play -- what is it?
