As for me, I voted for the split (24/18, 13/9) for reasons of versatility and flexibility. In my opinion, the point-making 8/2, 6/2 is much more deterministic than the split and leads to positions which I regard as compulsive and narrow.

The resulting degree of commitment (obligation) is lower when we split. Therefore, I prefer S more than P at even scores.
