Did you notice that XG opening book lists XGR++ evaluation rather than an actual rollout? Hence, 0.005 equity difference it gives is meaningless; splitting might just as well be a hair ahead after a full long rollout.

There was an excellent article by Dmitriy Obukhov and Paul Weaver on opening 64 in match play sometime last year in Prime Time magazine.
