Agreed! Consider as well entering from the bar against a five-point board or jumping through a hole in a prime. The number one player needs may not be the same as the one his opponent is hoping for.

I meant to suggest only that life will be more complicated for the cheat when both players get to use his gaffed dice.

BTW, are you saying that the cheat who is trailing in a race, and who therefore needs to bear in quickly, has an advantage over the race leader who does not need to bear in? Does rolling a 6 really help one more than the other? Sure, the race leader may be wasting pips, but whenever he can clear from the rear, that should be as good or better than rolling the lower numbers that might cause him to leave a gap at some point. In addition, doublet 6 is more likely to clear four checkers than any other doublet.
